31 inch Season 2 Princess Luna Plushie by StarDragon102 31 inch Season 2 Princess Luna Plushie by StarDragon102
31" season 2 Princess Luna Plushie!
Finally completed her and am happy with her!

She is for sale on ebay! Linky: [link]

Video Showing her off: [link]

She is made out of minky and her tail and mane are satin.
She has around 100 Swarovski crystals on her, that really shine in low light to make it look like a starry night :).
Video below to try to show off the sparkles and other angles.

Other angles can be found in my featured and scrapbook! But here's the links anyway! ^^

I wanna make a Luna plushie similar to this. Do you have any tips? Also how long did it take you to make this? She's a adorable BTW.

For tips: start off with some non-expensive fabric- The minky can get expensive upwards of 50+$ for 1 plushie. We started with some regular cheap flannel.
The rest you'll have extra so messing up doesn't hurt too much (Thread, embroidery thread, stabilizers, Clear embroidery stabilizer, stuffing, wire etc.) Until your comfortable putting plushies together. ^^
Depending on size, Plushies like this one can take 100-200$ in material alone, but its easier to work with larger plushies than smaller ones.

Depending on if your going to use machine embroidery, you'll need stabilizer, and a clear wrap that disolves with water, it holds the minky down so it doesn't come through the eyes when embroidering. Otherwise you get these nasty minky fur showing between some threads ^^.

Anything else I can help with just send me a note or ask, I'll try my best to help out!

Also, she took about two weeks part time, if I had to guess maybe 20-30 hours? - I like taking time on them to make sure they turn out right though, probably could do it much faster.
